# Logstash \[filewatch.readmode.handlers.readfile\] opening OPEN\_WARN\_INTERVAL is '300' error in File Input Plugin

Below is my Logstash File Input Plugin code.

```
input {
	file {
		path => ["/Desktop/logstash_input_folder/*.json"]
	    mode => "read"
		file_completed_action => "log_and_delete"
		file_completed_log_path => "/Desktop/logstash_completed_files.txt"
		sincedb_path => "/Desktop/sincedb_file.txt"
	}
}

```

The Output is supposed to create a new index based on the input data. However I am getting this error which I've looked up online and found no solutions, I've chmod 777 both the logstash\_completed\_files.txt and the sincedb\_file.txt but the error persists. Would appreciate any help!
