# Logstash on windows

Hello! I want to know how to install xpack on windows !an you please help me with the commands . I am new to this.

What have you tried? What did you expect to happen? What really happened, and how is that different from what you expected?

Did you start with the [documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/installing-xpack-log.html)? Where did you get stuck?

After installing xpack as the documentation above ,there is an error saying xpack not supporting windows(x86)!

Looks like you have your answer, X-Pack doesn't support x86 installations. I assume you are trying to install it on an old 32-bit installation of Windows.

Depending on what you are trying to do, a 32-bit installation would be significantly limiting considering the amount of RAM each app in the Elastic Stack consumes.
