# Logstash or Beats (or both) for data feeding

Hi there!  
I am using Elastic for a while now and now want to finally add it to our production. I will have, e.g, ~200mb of log files daily about user money spending and plus some event/alarm logs.  
I using Python I wrote a program which can feed the data to Elastic, but it is too buggy and insecure (I am not a professional developer) and I think using Logstash or Beats in-between would be better option for security and robustness.  
I would be very glad to have opinions on that. Which element to choose? I know that Logstash can also be fed via Beats.
