# Logstash-output-http retry not working

http {  
url =\> "[http://localhost:8080/MyApp/api/test](http://localhost:8080/MyApp/api/test)"  
http\_method =\> "post"  
connect\_timeout =\> 30  
request\_timeout =\> 30  
socket\_timeout =\> 30  
automatic\_retries =\> 3  
}  
}

It fails with error and doesn't retry.  
tested with logstash 2.3.3 and 5.1.1 version  
Connection refused (Connection refused) {:url=\>"[http://localhost:8080/](http://localhost:8080/)....

Any thoughts?
