# Logstash Persistent Queues

Hi,  
I'm seeing some weird behaviour where logstash appears to be bottlenecking throughput from filebeat yet persistent queues are not filling. Is this possible?

Note: Logstash appears to be the bottleneck as throughput is a lot higher when filebeats ship directly to elasticsearch.
