# Logstash plugin

Hello,

I'm trying to install codec\_avro\_schema\_registry plugin in [offline mode](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/offline-plugins.html). i downloaded the zip file from [github](https://github.com/revpoint/logstash-codec-avro_schema_registry)  
The installation doesn't work, it throw this error :

> The pack must contains at least one plugin

I also tried to install this plugin using gem file found [here](https://rubygems.org/gems/logstash-codec-avro_schema_registry/versions/1.1.1?locale=fr). But i'm not sure from the way to install from a gem file (gem install logstash-codec-avro\_schema\_registry -v 1.1.1 doesn't work for me)

Doses any body know how to fix the zip (may be re-built it?) in order to use it for the logstash-plugin install please?
