# Logstash script creation of one field with different alias names

Hi,

Could you please tell me, if there is any way to declare one field with different alias names as below,

field\_name: address  
alias\_name1: address1  
alias\_name:2 address2

Kindly let me know if there is a way, then how.

Not sure I understand what you mean. How would these aliases work and manifest themselves? Although not strictly true, you can see Logstash is a processor of JSON objects. Since JSON has no alias feature, what would the aliases you're talking about mean?

Or are you talking about Elasticsearch and an ability to search for a string in a field named "address1" but _actually_ searching in the "address" field?
