# Logstash service is running but the port is not responding

hi,  
when starting filebeat connect failed logstash.

why not runnig port(5044)?  
Is the logstash running manually?

Have you checked the Logstash log to make sure it really is starting up fine?

permission access  
/var/logstash/  
/etc/logstash  
/usr/share/logstash
