# Logstash set hour %{+HH} timezone on strings?

Damn it!  
Any way to extract HH from @timestamp field (already with TZ and DST?) regex? substring? event['@timestamp][x..y]? [Substring in logstash](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/substring-in-logstash/57070)
