# Logstash should not use the "tags" field

Logstash should not use the "tags" field  
The name tags is easy to use in applications

And when Elasticsearch mapping is set to strict, it becomes a problem.

> mapping set to strict, dynamic introduction of [tags] within [\_doc] is not allowed
