# Logstash to logstash communication without ssl?

Is there a way I can setup [logstash to logstash communication](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/ls-to-ls.html) without configuring ssl?  
I already have logstash deployed without any ssl configuration with beats input. If possible I would like to deploy client LS with lumberjack output without the need to setup the certificates.  
If there is any other output plugin that works, please let me know.
