Hi All,

I am using a different index for field abbreviations and its descriptions. How to use that index on another index to change field value based on abbreviations. Simply I am asking that one index hold US state abbr. and its full name. How to change or use this index on populating another index that using these abbr. short forms.

You probably want the Elasticsearch filter for that purpose [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-elasticsearch.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-elasticsearch.html)
