# Logstash with Localstack Kinesis

Hi,

Has anyone successfully managed to run Logstash against a [Localstack-provided Kinesis](https://docs.localstack.cloud/aws/kinesis/) stream, or even just a plain [kinesis-mock](https://github.com/etspaceman/kinesis-mock) container?

I would like very much to test Logstash configurations and throughput locally before spending Real Money.
