Greeting,
I am evaluating the cloud version of Elasticsearch, and I want to mount some test data, using logstash (version 8.4.3),
but I get an error telling me the following:

"Could not connect to a compatible version of Elasticsearch\>, "

[ERROR][logstash.javapipeline][main] Pipeline error {:pipeline\_id=\>"main", :exception=\>#\<LogStash::ConfigurationError: Could not connect to a compatible version of Elasticsearch\>, :backtrace=\>[" C:/programming/logstash-8.4.3/vendor/bundle/jruby/2.6.0/gems/logstash-output-elasticsearch-11.6.0-java/lib/logstash/outputs/elasticsearch/http\_client/pool.rb:245 :in `block in healthcheck!'", "org/jruby/RubyHash.java:1519:in `each'"

any suggestion?
Thank you very much for the help.

Hi @LeoCP Welcome to the community and thanks for trying elastic Cloud.

You got a little typo there

> [@LeoCP](#):
>
> hosts =\> ["[https://demoit.kb.us-central1.gcp.cloud.es.io:9243](https://demoit.kb.us-central1.gcp.cloud.es.io:9243)"]

That URL is connecting to Kibana not elasticsearch

Try `es` that is the elasticsearch endpint `kb` is the kibana endpoint

`https://demoit.es.us-central1.gcp.cloud.es.io:9243`
`...............^^`

You could also use your `cloud_id` see [here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-outputs-elasticsearch.html#plugins-outputs-elasticsearch-cloud_id)
