# Looking for any examples of using curator via the python api

Even something just as simple as how to use logging. (I'm new to python so looking for a quick bootstrap).

Ok, got the logging. But it would still be nice to have some real-world examples to look at.

You mean like [these examples](https://curator.readthedocs.io/en/latest/examples.html) in the official API documentation?

No, not those. I'm looking for real applications that use the actions, do some error handling, logging, etc.

You mean, like Curator itself, then? Curator _is_ the Curator API, plus some bolt-on CLI code. See for yourself at [https://github.com/elastic/curator](https://github.com/elastic/curator)
