# LUA like scripting support in Elastic search

Does anyone else feels like some scripting language support can save a lot of round trips for your application as well, My use case is two queries I need to do for achieving correct aggregation, the result of the first query is used for filtering data set for the second query.  
if such scripting is available I can query in single network call from my application.
