# Lucene 3.5.0 (memory)

Very good news for memory usage !

Shay, do you have any idea when lucene 3.5.0 will be released and when it could be integrated in ES ?

David - OSS (or at least Lucene TLP) rule #1: never ask the when  
question. 😉

I have now bad habit with OSS as Shay release really often new version of ES.

So it remains about 50 issues in JIRA before releasing 3.5.0... I don't why but I thought that there is only 2 bugs remaining.

So let's say "wait & see" and "be patient young Padawan"
