# 【Macos】elastic agent 8.5.2 and 8.5.3 install unhealthy

hello, I am trying to install elastic agent 8.5.2 and 8.5.3 in macos and I get the following error, what can I do to solve it?

```auto
Status: FAILED
Message: app endpoint-security--8.5.3-03e0f317: failed to start connection credentials listener: listen tcp 127.0.0.1:6788: bind: address already in use
Applications:
  * endpoint-security (FAILED)
                       failed to start connection credentials listener: listen tcp 127.0.0.1:6788: bind: address already in use
  * endpoint-security (DEGRADED)
                       Protecting with policy {7y ***** }

```

Try killing the agent and double checking that nothing else is already listening on that port.  
netstat -tulpn | grep LISTEN
