# Make EuiSuperDatePicker invalid explicitly

Hi Team,

I want to throw invalid range by EuiSuperDatePicker explicitly for particular date ranges. Is this possible. Please Help!

Same error behaviour as shown in image how can i achieve it for my time range.

This logic is handled within the component itself by this function: [https://github.com/elastic/eui/blob/master/src/components/date\_picker/super\_date\_picker/super\_date\_picker.tsx#L138](https://github.com/elastic/eui/blob/master/src/components/date_picker/super_date_picker/super_date_picker.tsx#L138)

It's not configurable from the outside. You can open a feature request on the EUI repository for this - I can definitely see the use case.
