Hi All, Can some one guide me how to write own custom char filter using Mapping\_path parameter.. We can write with Mapping parameter where we can give key value pair. I do not want to reindex my data every time, hence want to put all mapping items in a file and while reindexing data character file picks up mapping filter from a physical file. ---

If you are referring to a `mappings_path` configuration of the [Mapping Char Filter](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.2/analysis-mapping-charfilter.html) then this is available ever since version 2.0. Also, keep in mind that the `mappings_path` file is loaded once the index is opened and won't be reloaded anymore (unless index is closed/opened) ---
