# Marvel showing duplicate nodes

One of my other developers went through and restarted most of our ES nodes and now I see phantom duplicates of all my nodes in Marvel. Will that clear itself over time or is there a way to remove the Offline copies of all my real nodes?

Hi Bryce,

This is a limitation in the current way that we determine the "source" of the information about the node. In Marvel 2.3 we will be adding support for "source" attributes to each node, which will default to `IP:port`. Once it's released and you've upgraded, then it should resolve this issue for good.
