# Master branch docker image

I am interested in running the latest metricbeat version, as it contains a new module that I need and I am looking for ways to create a docker image for the latest master branch state. As I understand you do not provide up-to-date docker images of the master branches. I took a look at the beats-docker repository and it seems that it heavily relies on downloading the precompiled artifacts - and that the latest beats preview release is almost two months old, so it wont be possible to create an image this way.

Do you have some scripts that allow for the easy creation of docker images that I am overlooking?

I haven't had a look at the Dockerfile yet, but you can try to modify the Dockerfile to use [the nightly builds](https://beats-nightlies.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html).
