# Master not discovered or elected yet, an election requires two nodes with ids

I'm am currently trying to set up a cluster with 3 nodes in total. 1 master node and 2 data nodes. I am currently just trying to get the the first two nodes to connect. My master node runs fine when I start it but my data node is getting the following error.
