# Measure web page load times

Hi,

I have a heartbeat agent monitoring some web:

- type: http  
urls: ["[http://myweb.com](http://myweb.com)"]  
schedule: "@every 60s"  
id: MyId  
name: MyName

and with kibana I monitor the media of "[monitor.duration.us](http://monitor.duration.us)" .

Is this the best way to measure web page load times?

sounds like you're looking for something like [synthetics monitoring](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/observability/current/synthetic-monitoring.html) or [real user monitoring](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/observability/current/user-experience.html).
