Hello everyone,

I’m new to Kibana and I’d like to find a way to merge the entries of my data view.

The data view contains field2 with the values “Verification passed…” or “Verification failed…” and a following string. I’d like to merge all strings so that in a pie chart visualization just entries for “Verification passed…” or “Verification failed…” exist.

In the attached screenshot there would be 5 entries in the pie chart, because all strings in field2 differ. But there should be 2 entries (4 times “passed” and 1 time “failed”).

Does anyone have an idea? My guess is that it could be solved with the scripting function of Kibana?

Screenshot attached of the data view.

Thanks and kind regards,

Soeren

I solved it. For the visualization in Buckets I used FIlters as aggregation type. Then I used 2 filters, one for passed and one for failed.
