I am using logstash to merge events - how do I stop individual events from going to elastic search and only have aggregated ones go?

Am using grok and aggregate plugins.

Aggregate is configured with timeout.

What distinguishes the individual events from the aggregated ones? For example, are the aggregated ones tagged with something?
