Hello,

You're very welcome. 🙂 I have not tried to build the Beats projects on Solaris, but there are quite a few threads discussing getting Beats working on Solaris. It's definitely a popular platform within many folks researching building/configuring Beats.

Following are the steps I followed. Installed Go (1.4) BootStrap - [https://golang.org/doc/install/source#go14](https://golang.org/doc/install/source#go14) Compiled GO (1.6) and generated GO binaries - [https://golang.org/doc/install/source#introduction](https://golang.org/doc/install/source#introduction) Compile Beats using GO 1.6 as suggested here - [https://github.com/elastic/beats/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#sett…](https://github.com/elastic/beats/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#setting-up-your-dev-environment)
