# Metricbeat in DMZ

Hello there!

We have some servers where we want to collect PERFORMANCE logs from with METRICBEAT.  
Is there any another way besides of opening port from each server to Elastic?

I saw some discussions where the suggestion for FILEBEAT was to use redis/kafka as central point of log collection.

Is it possible to make smth similar with METRICBEAT ?  
Or are there any other solutions?
