# Metricbeat MongoDB SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication

I am looking into using the metricbeat mongodb module. Our MongoDB Enterprise deployment uses SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication and I have not been able to get metricbeat to use this authentication schema. Does anybody know if metricbeat can use SCRAM-SHA-256? I have tried with metricbeat 7.7.1
