# Metrics filter plugin has delay in flushing

Logstash version: 7.5.1

When in heavy load, ~1.8M events per minute. I used meter and set clear\_interval and flush\_interval to both 60 seconds. The outcome is that, i got metrics event in every ~65 seconds.

Any idea?
