Hi, I currently have elk setup on cloud and want to replicate it on onprem and remove cloud setup. I want to migrate development part like dashboards, index-patterns, users created etc. Will vm snapshot backup restore work along with copying data folder into new servers considering ip, certificates are changed respectively. Or Will have to create new setup and import saved objects. Is there any other way. Regards, Bryce Fernandes. ---

Use Elasticsearch snapshot and restore, not a VM snapshot. ---
