# Migrating Elastic Data into a new server

Hi everyone!

Can you please help me migrate the elastic data from one server to another?

The two servers are in different locations and can't be connected to each other due to security policies.

You'll likely need to do a snapshot and restore if you cannot connect then directly to each other.
