# Mininimum hardware requirement for ELK stack 6.3 version

Experts:

I would like to size production server(ELK stask) with the below info

1. wanted to keep 3 months files on the Elasticstack. Total size around 2.5GB data for 3 months

2. Single server(not sure which windows or Redhad linx) is best in production for ELK?

3. Does 16Gb,4 core cpu, 100GB hard disk and JAVA 8 is enough?

Please suggest your thoughts on this.
