# Modifications in Kibana

I am doing some modification in Kibana **common.style.css** file.

for example i am changing logo path.  
instead of **Kibana.svg** i am giving **xyz.png**.

changes are working fine.After some time when i restart kibana **common.style.css** file **updating automatically and reverting back all changes** what i did.

Can you please suggest me how can i **stop auto refresh of common.style.css** file.

Hi @Dan

Instead of modifying the css file directly, try editing the style in the relevent .less file. Delete the `optimize` directory and restart Kibana. Now Kibana will rebuild `common.style.css` with your change included.
