# Monitor queuedepth logstash queues

Hi

Is there a way to monitor the queuedepth of logstash queues

queue.type: persisted  
queue.max\_bytes: 4gb

I can see thet the jvm usage increases when I push 50K onto the syslog port.  
but I do not know how much is actually used. print out a queue.depth to log.
