# Monitoring of a log file directory

Hi all,

i asked Uncle Google and also searched here to the last corner, but without success. So I hope I did not miss anything.

I am already using the complete stack without any issues. But thinking about new usecases I am trying to use ELK to monitor a single directory and it should alert me, if there is more than 1 file in that directory. Does anyone know if Elastic is capable of doing this?
