# Move Elasticsearch from Virtual server on windows to Physical one on centos & Rolling Upgrades from 6.2 to 6.3

Greetings All,

Sorry if this topic has already been posted!

We have Elasticsearch on a VM that runs on windows server 2012 and we want to migrate it to a physical one inwhich we will install Centos7.

i've made some research and i've found that i need to go through one of the following procedures :  
1-Indexing from remote server  
2-Snapshot and restore ( can't be possible from windows server to centos)  
Kindly could anyone advise?

Another thing : we are on 6.2 and we want to migrate to 6.3 on elasticsearch , is there any procedure with details please?
