# Move some snapshots out of a repository

Hello

I've configured a repository where I created several snapshots of some of the in  
dexes in my ElasticSearch cluster. I would like to know if it is possible to mov  
e only some of snapshots inside the repository to an storage facility (other filesystem or cloud storage). I've see that each snapshot saves two files in the di  
rectory and an indices directory. Inside, there is a directory for each indice I  
've saved in the snapshots.

Are there any tool that can be used to move only some of those snapshots to othe  
r localization?

There is not, you will need to setup a new repo and take snapshots to that.
