I'm moving my elasticsearch cluster into production. Part of this is standing up a new instance for Kibana 4, then configuring as an elasticsearch client, as outlined [here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/production.html).

How do I take my dashboard, and visualizations, with me? I've got some already configured and while \_re\_doing them is possible, I can see where I might want to make these portable.

How do I extract visualizations, and dashboards?

You can do single ones or them all. Or you can also take a snapshot of the `.kibana` index and then restore it.
