Hi! I'm a little bit confused with the Multi Get API. While trying the API I see that it always returns results in the same order as in the `ids` field of the request body. But in [the reference for the API](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.1/docs-multi-get.html) I didn't find anything about the results order.

So I have a guess that the API was really designed to return results in the same order as in the `ids` field. If this is true I'd be happy if maintainers explicitly add this detail to the reference. That would give me the right to rely on this detail in my application.

Please, correct me if that is not true. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Good question, I opened [https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/28343](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/28343). You might want to follow it.
