# Multi\_match with most\_fields option does not behave as documented

Hello,

The documentation on multi\_match query [1] with most\_fields specified, does not behave as documented. The documentation says "The score from each `match` clause is added together, then divided by the number of `match` clauses.", however what I observe is that the score of each match clause is added.

Could you please confirm what is the behaviour?
