# Multiple Instances of the same Connector

Is it possible in workplace search to add multiple connections of the same type e.g. Jira (Server) connections?

Under '/workplace\_search/settings/connectors/jira\_server/edit' I could only add one Base URL ?!

Hi David,  
Workplace Search connectors only support one connection per type.  
We have another type of connector called [Elastic Connectors](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/enterprise-search/8.8/connectors.html) that support multiple connections of the same type. However, the Jira connector for that is still in beta right now and only available on-prem in 8.8. [Here's some documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/enterprise-search/8.8/connectors-jira.html) if you'd like to read more about it.
