# Multiple Logstash Config Files for different log types

Can we have multiple logstash config files for different types of logs to handle? If yes, How will logstash read all the config files?

I want to create multiple logstash config files because i may end up getting a huge config file if i add all the filter plugins in one config file. Also i don't want to it

Please help me on this one. Thank You.

You can configure [multiple discreet pipelines in Logstash](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/6.4/multiple-pipelines.html), which seems to be what you are looking for.
