I'm doing a presentation Thursday at our local HUG and another next week at
our local JUG. I wanted to get a few points together about some of the
distinctions between ES and SOLR/SOLR Cloud. I'm not doing a head-to-head
comparison. Both presentations are ES focused. I just want to present some
of the differences since my audience is more likely to be familiar with
SOLR. I'd like to give people some reasons to at least try ES and maybe use
it 🙂
