# New Control Filter Version 8

Hi, I want to do drilldown with filter. I already apply with filter but when I do drill down, the filter doesn't work. It happen in new control for version 8. It works with old control (version 7). Is it a bug or need different configuration? Thank you!

Hi @Irwan_Kurniawan. I believe this is a [known issue with controls](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/140537) and it appears we are working on a fix.
