# New node high cpu

my es(6.7) cluster add a new node, and the new node's CPU is very high, by the hot\_threads, I found the thread "Lucene Merge" is occupy the cpu, and the other's no, why?

Does the new node have slower storage than the other nodes or is this happening while the custer is rebalancing?
