Hi, is there any plan to support FTP protocol in a not too distant future?

Hi, we don't have plans for FTP for now. I opened an issue [here](https://github.com/elastic/packetbeat/issues/192) to track it, but don't expect it too soon. But we can help you to do add support if you are interested.

Hi,

I would love to implement it but I have a very very limited knowledge of the Go language which makes it slightly difficult. But if there is an in-depth tutorial on how to create a beat for a new protocol, I'm up for the challenge. Can you point out some tutorials/webpages to get me started?
