# New to elastic search

hello  
i am new to elastic search. i read thru java api on your site but cudnt understand completely how to create client by establishing connection to the server. elastic search server is hosted at a particular IP address and i need to connect to it thru java code. so can you please guide me as to which kind of client i should create and how?
