# Nginx and Mysql fields directly to Elasticsearch without Logstash

Hi,

In the documentation I can see that Filebeat seems to offer a way to log directly data to elasticsearch without Logstash. [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/master/exported-fields-mysql.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/master/exported-fields-mysql.html) and [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/master/exported-fields-nginx.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/master/exported-fields-nginx.html)

But is there somewhere an example on how to configure filebeat to directly send/extract mysql and nginx fields into elasticsearch then kibana ?

The documentation you're looking at is build from the current development branch. What you're looking at is currently more of a prototype for a new feature coming to filebeat.
