# No ingest node in the cluster

Hi,

I guess this is the same problem as described here: [Ingest node, what's the deal? It's required ?!](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/ingest-node-whats-the-deal-its-required/79862/7)

If this is the case, the solution would be to disable the ingest pipeline for the monitoring as described [here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/monitoring-settings.html#local-exporter-settings):

```auto
xpack.monitoring.exporters.my_local:
  type: local
  use_ingest: false

```
